About Cheney Towing

A free referral service, not a towing company

Cheney Towing is a free referral service. We do not perform the work, and we do not own trucks. When you send a request, we can share it with up to 3 independent local contractors who set their own prices and are responsible for their own licensing and insurance. We're upfront about that structure because it's the honest one: a single request form that connects you with contractors, rather than a claim to be a fleet with a long backstory. We don't publish an invented operating history or a founder story we can't back up. What we can tell you is how a request works and what we will not claim.

That structure exists for a practical reason. One request can be shared with more than one independent contractor, rather than leaving you waiting on a single truck that is already on another job. The price, the schedule, and the equipment all belong to the contractor who accepts the work. Cheney Towing does not quote an arrival time and does not promise that anyone is available at a given hour.

What happens after you submit the form

The form asks for your name, phone, an optional email, the kind of help you want, a location, and a short note. The consent box stays unchecked until you choose it. Nothing is scheduled until you agree with a provider.

We also don't claim a partnership with any insurer, roadside plan provider, or membership program. If your policy or plan reimburses towing, that's a conversation between you and them after the fact, and the contractor can give you a receipt. What we won't do is tell you we're something we're not to make the pitch sound bigger than it is.

Coverage that doesn't depend on one company

A single contractor has a hard limit: when that crew is on a job, everyone else waits. Sharing a request with independent contractors means Cheney and the West Plains can still be covered when one operator is already out, without pretending those trucks are ours. It's a structure built around connecting you with whoever is actually available, not around a bigger story.
